The Lantern Festival is coming. On this day, people gather around the table to eat glutinous rice balls (aka “Tangyuan”).
元宵节是新年中的月圆之日，月圆代表圆满。节日当天，广东人会围坐在餐桌上吃汤圆。
People in Guangdong province usually make a pot of salty Tangyuan with meat and vegetable fillings, which also symbolize reunion and happiness for the coming year.
除了有甜汤圆，广东江门地区的人们在正月十五还会煮上一锅鲜味的咸汤圆，寓意来年团团圆圆、阖家幸福。
